Doctors from Homolka among the 50 best doctors in the Czech Republic

This year, Forbes magazine's rankings include:

• Prof. Petr Neuzil , CSc. - Chief of Cardiology, holder of several world firsts in the field of diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias
• prof. MUDr. Josef Vymazal, DSc. - neurologist and head of the radiodiagnostic department of the hospital, who pioneered a revolutionary treatment method for glioblastoma, the most malignant brain tumour.

Two doctors from the Na Homolce Hospital were among the Young Blood - five young doctors under 35:

• MUDr. Aneta Dvořáková, who works in Prof. Neužil's team and focuses on acute and interventional cardiology.
• Jaromír May, M.D., Ph.D., who specializes in stereotactic neurosurgery. He implants intracranial electrodes and treats a wide range of diseases using the Leksell Gamma Knife, the only device in the country.
