Diagnostic programme

Constituting a major part of NHH clinical activities, the large-scale diagnostic programme provides the basis for all treatment. A number of modern diagnostic imaging devices and technologies, using CT, magnetic resonance, angiography, sonography, endoscopy etc., are available to our physicians directly at their respective departments, mostly in the operating rooms. In addition, our diagnostic unit, consisting of five departments, offers a broad range of diagnostic examinations with state-of-the-art imaging technology: mammogram, positron emission tomography (PET) scan, and laboratory examinations including biochemical, haematological, immunological, molecular-genetic and microbiological analyses.
